They lie

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Repairs delayed; floors, baseboards, back door leak; poor follow-up.
  • - Fridge dent/noise; warranty honored after move-in date; check closing docs.

I highly suggest staying away from Repo or Regional Mobile Homes. I have been living in my mobile home since November and they still have not taken care of the punch list of repairs that were supposed to be fixed.

My floors need to be redone, the baseboards are already falling off the walls, and my back door has a gap where water leaks inside.

When I first spoke with them, they said they would fix everything. A few weeks later, I followed up and was told the same thing again. Now its March and no one has come out to fix anything. No one returns my calls and no one answers my emails.

To top it all off, I pulled my refrigerator out because it was making a loud noise and ice kept building up in the freezer.

When I moved it, I found a huge dent in the back of it. When I called to make a claim, they told me the warranty had already expired.

Thankfully I kept the letter that shows the date I actually moved into the home, and because of that they honored the warranty. Im grateful for the Whirlpool service technician who pointed that out and helped me with that.

Just a heads up to anyone buying a mobile home, check your paperwork carefully and make sure your closing documents show the date you were actually able to move into your home, not the date you first went to look at the homes.

User's recommendation: Don’t do it!

Don’t buy from regional there managers ate hateful n hang up the phones on u n tell u they aren’t fixing anything Else when the issues was never fixed it is a simple take to fix and they still can’t do that very sorry place to do business with

Original review May 24, 2025

I have water around the kitchen faucet. It holds water on the countertop.

No one they have sent out seems to know what the issue is, but where is the water coming from? I put a towel around the base of the faucet; it's drenched in water in no time. I'm so aggravated. I can't keep doing this.

I am supposed to be happy about a new place, not miserable. This is really affecting my mental health. Never will I buy a thing from them again.

Also, today I noticed water at the bottom of the baseboard on the wall in the kitchen, but I know they want to know what to do to fix it either, so no use in calling. I am getting a lawyer next week.

Where is my home??

AI Highlights
  • - Todd Nowlin and Regional Homes delayed timelines.
  • - I had to obtain and submit the permit documents myself, leading to housing instability.

I woI have been working with Todd Nowlin since Jan 12, 2024. Every document that was needed on my end was given in a timely manner.

I asked many questions requested transparency. This is not my first time purchasing a home, but it is my first time purchasing a manufactured home. We got an approval on April 9, for a land home package. On April 15 he confirmed the buying process would take approximately 2.5 months.

On May 7, I sent in the last required document. May 8, Todd informed me that I would be in my house end of June/ first of July. June 14 Im told I should be living in the house end of July. I was disappointed and was then offered a lot model with standard walls at the same price as the new custom one I was purchasing with drywall.

I declined the offer. Closing was July 2. for the first time at closing permits were mentioned. Nothing was said about having to apply myself or the cost.

July 8th is when I learned I had to do this alone. I was given no instructions and had to google everything. Todd has never put a home in Shelby county so he wasnt much help. I had to leave work to go sit in his office to get documents I had requested to submit with the application.

It took from July 8 -September 4 to get all the documents for the permit application. I got the address assignment myself and submitted the permit application alone. I received the permit on September 9th and Todd did take care of the fee, as I felt he should. There was rain for a full week so the land had to dry out.

On September 23 Todd told me someone should be here to clear the land this week. Messaged both Todd and the contractor on Tuesday and Wednesday to find out exactly when they would be getting things started. Tomorrow is Friday and I have heard nothing from either of them, but my messages have been read. This situation is a huge deal.

My rental lease was up in May. I stayed at a hotel for may and June with the expectation to move into my home by late June/ first of July. Hotels and motels become expensive especially when they are more than even your mortgage or rent would be. July 12th My three children and I ended up living in our vehicle because this process was taking too long and draining me financially.

Not only that, but I have a child with complex medical conditions who had state health care. Without an address we were unable to get her recertification for care. She lost her insurance and I now have to pay out of pocket. There was no way I could afford her specialists, monthly supplies, therapies and the hotel.

We are now staying with a coworker and I had to get another full time job to get us out of the car. How can this be ok? Todd gets to sleep in his own bed in his own house at night and I am borrowing a childs room and bed and sharing it with my children. How is this ok??

I have been very patient and understanding, but now I am pissed. Almost 7 months and I am still homeless and paying interest on a home I do not have.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Regional Homes and Todd should be ashamed.

User's recommendation: Stay away

Because people should know

AI Highlights
  • - Regional Homes has off-centered beams and hollow walls.
  • - Cabinets, trim, and counters loosen, and the back outlet doesn't work, and grout cracks.

Do not use reginal homes, I think that is still their name. On top of the hill beside 222 ...

May be considered good hope not sure. Any way I have about nearly 10 cabinet doors that literally feel off. My electrical outlet in the back doesn't work, the beams were off centered. My shower grout is cracking again.

It's been awful ... and mine is a Hamilton, they do not use the size woodframe they tell you they uses. Some walls seems as though there is nothing behind it , like no part of the frame. They didn't cut light switch correctly and it's literally about to fall in the wall.

All of the light switches and outlet coverings are so cheap many places it's hard to plug stuff in the wall bc there is such a give, you feel like it just going to break the wall. They push and push for a Google review at the beginning, so they may have good customer service while you are purchasing but then after that it all starts falling apart. Trim comes off my wall, pieces of the counter came loose it's insane.

That the quality is ridiculous, like really bad. Don't use Regional Homes, in Cullman.

Still Waiting On Regional Homes Contractor to perform work on home after Delivery

We purchased a 2022 home from the regional home in McComb Mississippi. The Home was delivered on April 28, 2023.

In the same week that it was delivered to contractor, came and finished the marriage wall in the main opening.

Today is June 30. The contractor came out a few weeks ago and spackle the walls where the stress cracks were. The project manager has told us that he will be coming out this past Monday no-show. We called and found out that one of his children was home sick.

Understandable! We were assured that he would come out the next day. My husband took off work no-show. We called.

They stated that they were waiting for the parts.(mind you) we have a bedroom full of trim, that I am sure is more than enough to finish the four marriage openings remaining. I took off work the following day no-show show. When I called the office they stated that the parts were going to be in the following day and he come on Thursday which was yesterday June 29, 2023 no-show when we called we were told that the parts were late arriving. I asked if he would still be coming that day because the parts just came in that afternoon.

However, still no Contractor. Since he didnt show up Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday north Thursday I am here today just knowing that *** be here first thing. All of the information that Im sharing right now is a result of me having to call them to find out what was going on.

Continuing with my story, I called this morning and they said they are still waiting to get a call back from the contractor. No mind you all of the work that needs to be done is being done by a single individual.

They dont have a crew of people who can come in and get it out of the way And let us live our merry little lives.

This is so disappointing. Now we love our home but the customer service at Regional Homes Macomb, Mississippi is deplorable to say the least.

Loss:
$2000

Preferred solution: We want the services the so passionately promised so that we can enjoy our new home!

  • - Regional Homes promised to haul away the old mobile home after delivery.

Updated by user Oct 23, 2023

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Removed old trailer from the property.

Original review Sep 23, 2023
Regional Homes in Jasper, Alabama promised that they would haul the old mobile home away after they delivered the newly purchased mobile home. Unknown to us at the time, they didn't add that into the contract because they made a deal with one of their workers who wanted the old trailer.

The worker has backed out of moving the trailer because it isn't in good enough shape (even though he has never been here to look at it).

Now Regional Homes refuses to move the old home from the lot because it wasn't in the contract. We did not make that deal with their worker ourselves therefore we feel swindled.
Cons:
  • Untrustworthy
  • Unreliable

Preferred solution: Remove old trailer from property like they were supposed to do

User's recommendation: Take your business elsewhere!

Original review Sep 23, 2023

Regional Homes in Jasper, AL promised they would remove old mobile home from lot after they delivered newly purchased home. Instead of putting it in the contract to remove old home, one of their workers told them that he wanted it.

He was supposed pay to remove old trailer personally, but has now backed out. Now Regional Homes is refusing to move old trailer.

We were not the ones to make that deal with their worker, therefore we believe it should be removed from property. We were unaware that it wasn't added into the contract.

Update: filed complaint with attorney general. Repo Home Center failed to respond to the OIGs office.

They have promised to make all corrections within 12 weeks but have not apologized and have acted as if this is a complete bother to them the whole time. Because I have no guarantee they will complete the work, their promise is only as good as their word which is obviously no good, I plan to file a civil suit before the statute of limitations is reached.

I purchased a home from Regional in Brunswick County was delivered June 15, 2023. As of today only 3 people have done anything, that being AC unit installed, electrical box put up, steps delivered.

I keep calling and Olivia tells me today that the reason no work inside the home hasn’t been done is because they haven’t gotten the estimate for septic to be put in. What does that have to do with shower doors being installed, doors being adjusted and trim being put back up. Now the siding is falling off the house. I don’t think Olivia or anyone else knows what they are doing.

I have to leave ugly messages just to get a response. They are about to have me show my ***.

Sounds like a call from my lawyer is due. Beware of Regional Homes..
